The ArgoMax service department provides scheduled maintenance, certified diagnostics, and mechanical repair for tractors, loaders, and attached implements. Our technicians are factory-trained on LS Tractor powertrains, hydraulics, and electronic systems, and we apply the same standard of care to all makes and models brought into the shop.

Electronic diagnostic scan tools for LS, John Deere, Kubota, and Case IH platforms. We isolate engine, transmission, and hydraulic faults using manufacturer-level software and systematic test procedures.

Engine & Transmission Repair

In-frame and out-of-frame engine overhauls, cylinder head service, injection system repair, and transmission rebuilding. We source genuine and OEM-grade components for all major drivetrain systems.

Hydraulic System Service

Hydraulic pump replacement, valve body repair, cylinder resealing, and system pressure testing. We service open-center and closed-center hydraulic systems on tractors, loaders, and excavators.

Electrical & AC Service

Starter and alternator replacement, wiring harness repair, instrument cluster diagnostics, and HVAC system service. Cab climate control and lighting systems are tested to factory specifications.

Mobile Field Service

Fully equipped service truck dispatched to your location for on-site repairs, fluid changes, and emergency breakdowns. Coverage within a 60-mile radius of Des Moines. Call for same-day availability during peak season.

Most compact and utility tractors require oil and filter service every 100–200 hours, hydraulic fluid change every 400–600 hours, and coolant service every 1,000 hours or two years. Refer to your operator's manual for the complete schedule, or bring the tractor in for a maintenance review and we will establish a cycle based on your usage patterns.

Routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements is typically completed within one business day. Major repairs such as clutch replacement, transmission overhaul, or engine rebuild may require 3–10 business days depending on parts availability and shop workload. We provide an estimated completion date on every repair order.
